We are a dedicated group of concerned citizens continually addressing political issues in Harrison Township. Vigilance continues regarding major issues in the governing bodies decision-making process.

 We The People

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has. by Margaret Mead

Our foundation began with a campaign to SAVE BLOCK 64, a 70-acre area consisting of twenty-three lots that were proposed to be deemed “area in need of redevelopment” aka “blighted” which included considering seizing property through eminent domain for private development.  The area includes over a dozen homes and small businesses on Main Street, some of which have been declared “historic,” as well as a synagogue and a Grange fraternal organization chapter.  Thanks to public support and outcry we proved that “We The People” can make a difference.  The Harrison Township Committee voted on Monday, August 19th,  to remove 20 of 23 properties from a  proposed “eminent domain”.

Quote from a new resident “I moved to Mullica Hill because I loved the spirit here.  I loved the atmosphere and wanted to raise my kids here, everyone seemed so nice.  “Like Norman Rockwell”

Ask yourself why you live here or why you chose to move here? If born and raised here, ask yourself why you continue to live here in what has historically been known as quaint, eclectic villages with peach and apple orchards as our perimeter.

  1. I wanted to compose a quick note in order to appreciate you for all the great pointers you are sharing on this site.

My time consuming internet lookup has at the end of the
day been honored with excellent facts and techniques to share with my company.
I would claim that we visitors actually are rather endowed to live in a decent
site with so many lovely professionals with helpful tricks.
I feel very privileged to have come across your entire web pages and
look forward to some more exciting moments reading here.
Thank you again for a lot of things.

  2. The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

Fear makes uniformed people do irrational things. Your web page is full of incorrect information. You are misleading people. If you were truly engaged in the happenings of Harrison Township you would know better than to make the inflammatory statements posted in the is webpage.

From those of us who know and understand Municipal Land Use, your uneducated stance is expected. Take the time to learn how successful towns are thoughtfully developed and you will see the current Joint Land Use Board has recommended a viable plan that would benefit the homeowners on North Main Street. The developer’s plan is not the Town’s plan.

Pretty pictures but you seem to have missed 72 North Main. Talk about a negative effect on property values!

But, alas, NIMBY’s live on….and the town made a poor decision allowing you out of the plan.
